Joora – Crowdsourced Road Safety App
Joora is a web application I built to collect and visualize data on potholes using the Google Maps API. The project focuses on crowdsourcing reports by allowing users to mark pothole locations directly on the map, creating a growing dataset of road hazards. Beyond gathering and structuring data myself, Joora is designed with a practical purpose: improving road safety by highlighting problem areas that need attention. This project combines data collection, geospatial mapping, and user interaction into a tool that demonstrates how data-driven solutions can contribute to safer infrastructure.
